🔍 Role Summary
The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems software, and hardware components. This role ensures optimal system performance, security, and availability across the enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to system monitoring and support. You will be an essential part of the IT operations team, helping to ensure business continuity and support for all departments.

🛠 Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise networks.
Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of software, systems, and hardware.
Ensure the security and stability of IT infrastructure through regular patching, updates, and best practices.
Manage user access controls, system backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Conduct regular audits of system performance and respond promptly to any performance issues or failures.
Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and networking problems.
Collaborate with the IT team to evaluate and implement new technology solutions to enhance business operations.
Maintain system documentation, including configuration records, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
Troubleshoot system errors and outages; perform root cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for escalated support and procurement.
Oversee antivirus protection, firewall configurations, and cybersecurity protocols in compliance with company policies.
Ensure proper functioning of network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices.
Monitor storage utilization, perform data backups, and validate restoration procedures.
Assist in planning and deploying new infrastructure, including cloud-based or hybrid environments.

👤 Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+, RHCSA, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a system or network administration role.
Proven experience in managing enterprise IT environments, especially Windows Server or Linux-based systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in administering Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file systems.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPN, and cybersecurity principles.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace) will be preferred.
Competence in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash is beneficial.
