Position Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee daily activities on the production floor to ensure that output goals and timeliness are being met.
Assign manpower and resources in an efficient manner to achieve production deadlines and workflow specifications.
Enforce and monitor safety measures, quality control regulations, and operating procedures according to company guidelines.
Coordinate with departments like quality control, maintenance, and inventory management to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
Identify bottlenecks and make suggestions to improve efficiency in operations and minimize downtime.
Make performance appraisals and offer continuous feedback and guidance to team members.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for review by the management.
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the production area based on 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
Resolve process or equipment problems in coordination with technical groups to reduce disruption.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / ITI / B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or relevant technical streams.
2–6 years of related experience as a supervisory or team lead role in production.
Freshers from a technical background and keen to learn can also be considered.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production KPIs, and safety standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills with leadership, motivating, and team management capabilities.
Hands-on experience in ERP software systems, production software packages, and Microsoft Office Suite.
The ability to work under high-pressure situations and on flexible shifts when needed.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Work experience in FMCG, plastics, heavy machinery, electronics, or industrial goods manufacturing sectors is beneficial.
Candidates living within the Kanpur or nearby regions will be preferred on account of logistical benefits.
