Job Description:
Big Basket is hiring dedicated Delivery Boys in Bengaluru to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. As a Delivery Boy, you will be the face of Big Basket, playing a key role in maintaining high customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver goods and packages to customers promptly and efficiently.
Maintain clear communication with customers during deliveries.
Collect payments if required and issue receipts.
Ensure safe handling and transportation of all packages.
Report any delivery issues or delays to management promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, and receipts.
Follow traffic rules and Big Basket policies for safe delivery.
Assist in loading and unloading packages as needed.
Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
Represent Big Basket professionally while interacting with customers.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification of 10th grade or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in a delivery role preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
Good knowledge of Bengaluru routes and areas.
Physically fit to handle packages of varying sizes.
Customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor.
Basic understanding of payment handling procedures.
