🌟 Position Overview
The IT Support Executive will be responsible for delivering effective technical support across the organization, ensuring the proper functioning of computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of IT systems.
As the first point of contact for technical concerns, the IT Support Executive will play a vital role in resolving daily operational IT issues, assisting with hardware/software configuration, and maintaining system efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Provide timely and professional technical support to users for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
Monitor IT helpdesk queries and resolve tickets as per service level agreements (SLAs).
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, standard software applications, and internal tools.
Set up new user profiles, email accounts, and access controls in line with company policy.
Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, license tracking, and usage logs.
Ensure network connectivity throughout the organization and assist with Wi-Fi/router configurations.
Support routine backups, antivirus updates, and system patch management tasks.
Document common troubleshooting steps and provide end-user training where needed.
Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repair of hardware or licensed software.
Report and escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT staff or management when required.
Assist in deploying new systems and managing small-scale IT infrastructure upgrades.
✅ Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or ITIL Foundation will be considered an advantage.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in IT or desktop support roles preferred.
Freshers with a strong foundation in IT systems and networking may also be considered.
Technical Proficiency:
Working knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux commands, and Office 365 applications.
Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, routers, and LAN/WAN configurations.
Basic understanding of server systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote desktop tools.
Experience in using ticketing systems and diagnostic tools.

Ability to work independently or in a team, even under pressure.
