We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team. Dedicated and innovative professional with extensive experience in environmental engineering and wastewater treatment. Skilled in both theoretical and practical aspects of environmental engineering, with a strong focus on sustainable and efficient wastewater treatment solutions.

Following are the requirements.

An STP operator, or sewage treatment plant operator, operates and maintains sewage treatment plants. They ensure that wastewater is treated safely and efficiently, and that environmental standards are met.

Key responsibilities may include:
Preventative Maintenance:
Regularly inspecting and servicing all STP equipment including pumps, aerators, mixers, filters, and chemical feeders.
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and equipment usage.
Lubricating and cleaning components to prevent wear and tear.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Identifying and diagnosing equipment malfunctions through analysis of operational data and visual inspections.
Performing necessary repairs or replacements on faulty components, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Coordinating with external vendors for complex repairs or component replacements.
Performance Monitoring:
Regularly monitoring effluent quality parameters like pH, BOD, COD, and TSS to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Analyzing operational data to identify potential issues and optimize treatment processes.
Adjusting process variables as needed to maintain optimal treatment efficiency.
Recordkeeping and Documentation:
Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including dates, tasks performed, parts used, and observations.
Generating reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and effluent quality.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures within the STP environment.
Ensuring proper handling and storage of chemicals used in the treatment process.
Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including primary, secondary, and tertiary stages.
Familiarity with industrial equipment operation and maintenance practices.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
BOQ knowledge
BOQ Preparation/Cost estimation and accountable for material planning and indenting, material reconciliation, material comparison, techno-commercials.
