Role Overview
As a Fashion Content Creator at FriendsJob, you will produce visually captivating and editorial-level content tailored to a style-conscious audience. You’ll develop content strategies, weave compelling narratives, and work closely with stylists, designers, and marketers to enhance brand presence on websites, social media, blogs, and campaign collateral.
This role blends fashion insight with creative storytelling, ideal for someone who understands trends, brand tone, and high-engagement content.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality fashion content for websites, blogs, e-commerce, lookbooks, newsletters, and social media.
Collaborate with designers, creatives, and digital marketing teams to craft cohesive content strategies.
Translate runway trends, styling guides, and mood boards into captivating, audience-driven stories.
Create brand narratives, campaign slogans, and editorial copy that embody the brand’s style identity.
Optimize content for search engines using targeted keywords and best SEO practices.
Maintain consistent tone, voice, and visual vocabulary across all content channels.
Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely publication of posts and campaigns.
Draft influencer briefs, PR materials, and press releases for launches and collections.
Research global fashion trends, consumer behaviors, and industry innovations to inform content.
Proofread and edit all content to ensure brand consistency and grammatical precision.
Coordinate with graphic designers and videographers for multimedia storytelling assets.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Communication, Journalism, English, Mass Media, or similar creative fields.
2–5 years of professional experience in fashion content creation for brands, e-commerce, magazines, or lifestyle platforms.
Exceptional writing, editing, and conceptual storytelling skills with strong aesthetic sensibility.
Deep understanding of fashion vocabulary, trend cycles, garment details, and styling insights.
Experience creating lookbooks, product descriptions, social media posts, and blog content.
Familiarity with SEO techniques and digital content optimization.
Strong grasp of design-thinking and brand narrative development.
Proficiency in content planning tools like Trello, Notion, or Google Workspace.
Creative mindset with keen awareness of audience engagement and content tone.
A strong portfolio in fashion/lifestyle content is mandatory.
