About the Role
Zomato, one of India’s most trusted and fastest-growing food delivery platforms, is expanding its warehousing and backend support operations in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. We’re hiring Picker/Packer staff through FriendsJob for our fulfillment hub, managed by our trusted partner, Kisan Konnect. Role Summary
As a Picker/Packer, you’ll be responsible for assembling customer orders with speed and accuracy. You will ensure items are correctly picked, securely packed, and ready for dispatch. The position is physically active and essential to the daily operations of Zomato’s delivery process.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Select items from warehouse racks according to order slips or scanner devices
Carefully pack food items, groceries, or essentials in bags/cartons based on order specifications
Verify expiry dates and ensure correct labeling on each package
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the packing area
Assist with inventory restocking and order flow tracking
Coordinate with team leads for priority orders and dispatch timelines
Meet daily targets and maintain productivity metrics
Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors promptly
Candidate Profile
Minimum qualification: 10th pass
Age: 18 to 35 years
Experience: Not mandatory – both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome
Physically active with the ability to stand, walk, or lift lightweight goods
Comfortable working in rotational shifts (day/night)
Must have valid documents: Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, and recent photo
Salary & Benefits
₹14,340 per month (in-hand salary)
₹19,000 per month (CTC including PF, ESI, attendance bonus)
