🔧 Key Responsibilities
🛠️ Machine Setup & Operation
• Prepare and operate mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic power presses
• Load and align dies and tools with machine calibration specs
• Adjust stroke length, speed, and tonnage settings for optimized output
📏 Quality Control & Calibration
• Use precision instruments like calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Verify surface finish, dimensions, and material integrity
• Identify inconsistencies and make machine or process adjustments
🧰 Safety, Maintenance & Compliance
• Adhere strictly to PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures
• Conduct daily cleaning, lubrication, and basic equipment checks
• Promptly report faults or tooling damage to supervisors
📋 Production Logging
• Maintain accurate logs of production quantities, rework, and downtimes
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily output targets
• Suggest process improvements for operational efficiency

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
🎓 Education & Experience
• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machine Operator, or Tool & Die
• 1–3 years of power press operation experience preferred
