To strengthen our backend operations, we are looking for Quality Controllers to join our warehouse team in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, hired through our trusted partner, FriendsJob.
Role Overview
As a Quality Controller, your primary responsibility will be to inspect, evaluate, and ensure the quality of fresh produce, groceries, and packaged goods before they are dispatched. You will play a key role in upholding Kisan Konnect’s quality standards, reducing returns, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This is an important position for those who are detail-oriented, responsible, and passionate about food safety and handling.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming goods, especially fruits, vegetables, and packaged items for damage, spoilage, or quality issues
Perform visual, weight, and smell checks on perishable items before stocking or dispatch
Ensure that only approved and fresh stock moves into the picking and packing areas
Segregate damaged, expired, or substandard items and report to warehouse supervisor
Maintain inspection checklists and update daily QC logs
Work closely with warehouse staff, pickers, and packers to educate them on handling standards
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols as per company guidelines
Assist in inventory audits and stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out)
Flag potential issues in sourcing or packaging that could affect customer satisfaction
Support shift reporting and coordinate with the operations and procurement teams
Who Can Apply
Education: 10th or 12th pass; diploma or certificate in food safety or quality preferred
Experience: 6 months to 2 years in a quality control, warehouse, or food handling environment preferred
Skills: Good observation, communication, and basic record-keeping ability
Should be physically fit and ready to work on-foot for extended hours
Must be comfortable with shift-based duties
Required Documents: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Bank Passbook, and recent photograph
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Salary: ₹13,000 to ₹15,000 (based on experience and performance)
